1Who is who

CaiLook is a service of Conradius (conradius.ch, address see legal notice). CaiLook acts as an intermediary: we connect you with self-employed card readers and provide booking, payment, video room and messages.

The contract for the reading is concluded directly between you and the card reader. She is solely responsible for her reading. CaiLook is not a party to this contract.

You may take part from the age of 18.

2What a reading is – and what it is not

A reading serves entertainment and self-reflection. It does not predict the future and does not promise any particular outcome.

It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and does not replace such advice. Decisions you make are your own. In a crisis (Switzerland): 143 (Die Dargebotene Hand) or 144.

3Booking and paying

• Before paying you see the offer, duration, price and the card reader's cancellation rule. By clicking «Pay» you make a binding booking and accept these Terms and the cancellation rule.
• Bezahlt wird über Stripe (Karte, Apple Pay, Google Pay, in der Schweiz auch TWINT). Das Geld geht direkt an die Kartenlegerin; CaiLook erhält davon eine Vermittlungsgebühr. Deine Kartendaten sehen weder CaiLook noch die Kartenlegerin.
• The receipt is issued by the card reader. Whether she charges VAT is her own matter.
• Live reading: appointment in the video room. «Instant»: the room opens right away, price per minute × chosen minutes. Written: answer within 48 hours by e-mail.

4Cancelling, rescheduling, refunds

• You cancel or reschedule: each card reader sets a deadline (e.g. 24 hours before); it is shown to you before paying. Up to this deadline you can cancel free of charge (you get everything back) or reschedule to a time outside the deadline. After the deadline neither is possible – the reading counts as booked.
• The card reader cancels: you get everything back.
• Automatic refund if the technology fails (less than 3 minutes together in the room), the card reader is not there 10 minutes after the start, a written reading is not answered within 48 hours, or the code of conduct was breached according to our review.
• If you are not satisfied, give an honest review. With 1–2 stars CaiLook may voluntarily give you a credit (at most once in 90 days). There is no entitlement to this.
• Refunds go to the original payment method. Depending on the bank this takes a few days.
• A statutory right of withdrawal (e.g. for customers from the EU) expires once the reading has been fully provided with your consent. Under EU law it generally does not apply to appointments at a fixed time.

5Subscriptions and events

• Subscription: you take it out with the card reader; it renews automatically at the price shown. You can cancel at any time under «My readings» with effect from the end of the current period. Periods already paid are not refunded pro rata.
• Event: a ticket is valid for the date shown. If the card reader cancels the event, you get the full ticket price back.

6In-person appointments

Some card readers offer in-person appointments at their premises. A first in-person meeting with a new customer only takes place once the card reader has reviewed and approved the request; nothing is paid before that. If you choose «Pay on site», you pay directly to her (cash, TWINT or card). CaiLook is not involved in this payment and cannot refund it. The card reader is responsible for the location, access and procedure.

7Conduct, reviews, suspension

• Respect on both sides. No insults, no harassment, no recordings without consent.
• Only those who have actually booked may leave a review. Reviews must be honest; CaiLook may remove reviews with offensive or untrue content.
• In the event of an emergency report or warning signs, CaiLook may immediately pause or block a profile or account until the matter has been reviewed.
• Card readers do not book other card readers on CaiLook – not even with a second account or under another name. If this is reported and confirmed, CaiLook blocks the customer account; with card readers, the collaboration may also be terminated.

8Cai and technology

• Cai is an AI that helps with organisation (answering questions, appointments, hints). Cai does not lay cards and does not provide interpretations. Cai's answers may contain errors.
• Video runs via Daily.co. Conversations are not recorded.
• We do our best to keep everything running, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability.

9For card readers

• Self-employed: you work on your own account and responsibility, not as an employee of CaiLook. Taxes, social security, permits and VAT are your own matter. You issue the receipts (CaiLook helps with a template).
• Payment: you need your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). Customers pay you directly; you bear the Stripe fees.
• CaiLook commission per payment, decreasing with your experience: 30 % → 27 % → 25 % → 22 % → 20 %. For customers you bring yourself: 10 %. Referral bonus: 5 % of the price, at most as much as the commission.
• Cancellation rule: you set it yourself; it is shown to customers before they pay and applies as shown. If you cancel or do not show up, the entire payment is refunded – including the commission.
• Code of conduct: never frighten, make no firm promises, do not heal, no medical, legal or financial advice, no rituals for money, no contact and no payment outside CaiLook for customers gained via CaiLook.
• Who a client belongs to: Your own client is anyone who registers with CaiLook for the first time via your link, your website button or your invitation – or whom you imported or added yourself before she registered with CaiLook. A later import changes nothing. Anyone who registered via the Cai Market stays a market client for commission purposes – even if she later books via your link or website button. Redirecting market clients to other channels (your own link, direct payment, contact outside CaiLook) to avoid the commission breaches these terms: CaiLook may claim the lost commission and pause or block the profile.
• Free trial: The 30 free days are available once per person. Anyone starting another trial with a new account (different e-mail, different name) gets no trial; CaiLook may compare details from the Stripe account (e.g. bank account) for this.
• Review: code test, conversation with Cai (a human checks in case of doubt), probation period until 10 reviews with at least 4.0 stars. In case of breaches or an average below 3.0 stars your profile is paused; in case of serious breaches it is blocked.
• No bookings: if nobody books you for 14 days (holidays and absences do not count), your profile is paused and no longer visible; existing appointments remain. After 10 days we remind you. To become visible again, you apply again (conversation with Cai, then review by CaiLook).
• Content: you are responsible for your profile text, photo and offers and hold the rights to them. CaiLook may use them for display on CaiLook.
• You use customer data only for the reading, treat it confidentially and do not pass it on.
• You can stop at any time. CaiLook may end the collaboration with 30 days' notice, immediately in case of serious breaches.

10Liability

CaiLook is liable only for its own intentional or grossly negligent conduct, to the extent permitted by law. CaiLook is not liable for the content and conduct of the reading, for decisions you make after a reading, or for in-person appointments. Liability for personal injury and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11Final provisions

• Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Bremgarten AG. As a consumer you may also sue at your place of residence; mandatory protective rights of your country of residence remain in force.
• We may change these Terms. For booked readings, the version valid at the time of booking applies.
