The image and its meaning
The Queen of Wands unites both the masculine element of fire and the feminine element of earth, shown by the sunflower in her hand.
In this way she creates a balance between the polarities of the sexes. A black cat at her feet stands for feminine intuition paired with magical power. Upright, she looks down on her realm.
To the left and right, two lions form the base of her throne – symbols of her power. Regal and self-confident, she rules with a firm grip and control. She governs with wisdom and pride, serenity and dignity.
The Queen of Wands invites us to approach the task at hand now with self-assurance and courage. We are meant to face the new situation fearlessly and responsibly.
