They leave a lot behind, but they are prepared for any further conflict. The other shore is already in sight. The Six of Swords prepares us for change.
We have to leave our familiar inner world and comfort zone, give up our old home and face a completely new situation. It is a new beginning, but we are not alone – there are one or more people who accompany us on our new journey and share our fate. The sky is clear – in the end we will settle well into the new situation.
Yet it is a painful farewell – to an old hope, a goal that mattered to us, or outdated values. Perhaps our former view of the world has collapsed and our journey into the new situation is not quite complete yet. Here we are also confronted with the truth of a new situation.
First we have to make sacrifices and let go of much of what we saw as our home. Soon we will reach the new shore and bring new plans and goals to life.
